Across northern China, county and urban central heating networks are being renewed. Old lines suffer degraded insulation, high heat loss and frequent leakage, and the renewal demand is now arriving all at once.
The work window is the non-heating season: tight programmes, scattered sections. Owners value a supplier's ability to deliver in batches and support the site at least as much as the price per tonne.
Technically, insulation thickness for prefabricated directly-buried pipe is now back-calculated from the heat-loss target, with jacket and joint-closure systems supplied as a package. Changeover is expected to happen without stopping the heat, which forces much finer work planning.
For buyers: write insulation thickness, jacket specification, joint-closure materials and inspection items into the technical specification at tender stage. It is far cheaper than adding them later.
Tell us the medium, diameter and design pressure — our engineers will answer with a specification, not a brochure.
